Fuel efficiency of this trip.

I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed sharing my journey with you all.

Drive safe !
Thanks for sharing! I feel motivated to take up this journey some time soon.

I want to ask the fuel that you used and could get through your journey. I know the recommended is RON 95. Did you use that? Were you able to get it across different locations?

I used RON 91 for my entire trip. 95 still isn't easily available.

It means 72 hours of driving for the distance. That would look normal

Congrats on successfully completing a great trip!

Any reasons particularly to take the return route via Srinagar?

I just wanted to try this route as well, it was also a good chance to spend some time in Srinagar.

I must say that all the images were wonderful in both quality and content. Despite there being only 3-4 images per day, they were certainly worth it.

The images had a certain nostalgic charm, transporting me to a different time and place with each one.

May I respectfully ask if the accessories, such as the butane stove with gas canister and Fenix torch, were necessary for the trip? I noticed that many people were carrying them, but I did not see any pictures of them being used. Were these items simply precautionary measures for emergencies or were they actually used during the trip?

Thank you!

Yes, I suggest that you carry both of these in addition to a long list of other things.

I always carry the stove on all my trips and use it everytime to make tea/coffee and other quick snacks. As far as the torch is concerned, it can help in case of a breakdown or some other similar emergency, or just in case you want to go for a walk in the evening.
