Ahh, OK, I looked at the time of the post which more or less coincided with the time that I spoke to the Double Dees

Ishaan, wondering if anyone ever taught you story telling? Where is the report and the rest of the pics? I just returned sometime back from coimby. Planning to pen down a few of my travel experiences on a new thread. Have some interesting stories since you left.

Nice pics and cool climate. I am really surprised to see the roads very clean and well maintained. Are all the roads in kerala like this. Amazing.
Waiting for your report.

Ok, before I get a obituary written for this thread let me start the travelogue again!

After the Bombay meet, I stayed in Bombay for a few days with some close friends. One evening, we went to good places in town - Shiro & Hard Rock Cafe.

While Shiro's decor was nice & it was a good place I really liked Hard Rock much more! The combination of the music, decor, ambience really lends a different charm to the place altogether! And to whoever goes visiting, a couple of tips:

1. Do try their Cocktails they are fantastic!

2. Their food portions are HUGE, so order accordingly!

Sorry for the pic quality, the place was quite dimly lit to enable good pics.

At the entrance:

Loved these lines on the opening page of the drinks menu!

IIRC, this jacket is from "Lynrd Skynrd"

Well one particular evening me, V-16 & his nephew were going somewhere & on one of the red lights, I just happened to notice a shop's name board & immediately decided to take a pic of it! Here is the one of the funniest pics I took on the whole trip! Do note carefully what it says after "PROP:"

Sam, maybe a little bit of explanation?

Excellante pics Ishan. You're a natural at sceaneries (or you've got a better auto focus camera). Loved the pic with the clouds, looks like a twisters coming your way. Nice to put a face to Steeroid. Always imagined what he looked like.

Some people take away all the joy in life. There should be some sort of rule that prevents people from reopening threads that they opened and neglected.

I spent time and effort in writing what was a wonderful obituary - meant for this thread. The moron decides to resurrect the thread on the very same day.
