Re: A Car, a Thar and a Tea Estate | Our weekend drive to Kadamane Tea Estate, KA

How is the ride in the Thar ? Is it stiff ? Bumpy ? Is it safe for a slip disc person ?

Pleasing scenery, two nice cars and the photography makes it. Thanks for sharing.

Well, I rode in the Thar only on off-roading trails. Hard to comment on the ride quality purely based on the off-roading experience. But since you asked, I will say that it was better than I expected. But again, the terrain itself was so bumpy that you can't judge the ride quality from that experience.

I can not comment on that since unfortunately I have no knowledge about that. Sorry about that. That question is best answered by a specialist/expert in that topic.

A pleasant travelogue with amazing and soothing pics in this heatwave. The Thar really stands out amongst all those amazing landscapes.

Wow, just got my Sunday evening perked up by a hot cuppa tea and by your pics of the tea plantations

Kudos! Really salute your passion for travelling to such scenic places and sharing those experiences in such a lucid style, for us on the forum to savor them!

Thank you for sharing this!

Can a newbie Thar guy manage the trails to the Viewpoint & the Riverspot? I was planning to visit this in my newly acquired Thar.
I have practically zero 4x4 experience. But I can follow instructions to the T with a spotter.

Easily doable Slumdawg. Make sure you never do this alone. You surely need more than a spotter.
