Planning a trip to Madikeri

NIP:

I am a new member to this forum. I was browsing and googling for Madikeri. After seeing your posts and pics, I like to take your offer to advise on "how to go about visiting Madikeri"

Me, Wife & 2 kids want to take a leisurely trip to Madikeri mid August. Planning to stay 3 nights there.

Will not be driving....will have to depend on being driven by tour cabs.

Can you please give some suggestions. Thanks in advance

Rudra you are right. Coorg is called Switzerland of India and not Scotland.

BTW souljah am going there this weekend . Hope things work out as planned.

Wow! Amazing place. Truly lives to the name Scotland of India. Added this to my future visit list.

gr8 trip NIP

NIP - seems like you had a gr8 time then. I always wonder, how you people find such places. It is just awesome. I will PM you sometime to get more details. I think it would be a good idea to go in September when rains have subsided a little.

I know this is old thread but thought of updating the latest information If someone looking to visit Madikeri ( Coorg ) right now.

If someone love rain and nature this is perfect adventure time! It rained heavily and water falls like Abbi etc.. are in full glory.

Regards,

Ravi.
