Road-trip to the Pacific Northwest of the USA We recently spent a week in the Pacific Northwest. We flew to Seattle, and stayed at a vacation home in Packwood (South of Mount Rainier by White river). Then we drove to Sequim for a couple days, then a couple more days in Seattle. Here are some (phone) pictures.

Reflection Lake. Early in the morning when the air is still, one can see a perfect reflection of Mt. Rainier in the lake. For lazy bums like us who wake up at 8AM, this is the best we can do.

We have not been on a vacation this relaxing in a while. We kept it to one short trail per day, and totally made up for that exercise - ate well, slept well, played lots of board games sitting under huge trees. We made lots of great memories. I certainly recommend staying in the town of Packwood.
