Thankyou, FloatingCanvas. My recovery was faster after i returned home and still faster after i started meeting friends, and becoming active on social media. We all get various "Good Morning" messages with unsolicited gyan in our whatsapp groups. Most of us not only delete these messages but also get irritated at times with the unwanted gyan. But notwithstanding that part, friends do contribute towards one's well being, i can aver with some authority and experience.

Best wish anyone can give me. Thank you very much.

Part -IV: Mixed recovery

Its been two years since i had the stroke and the recovery has been mixed. i am able to walk around and do my essentials myself BUT.....
BUT i seem to have some diplopia and hence driving is out. I sold my beloved C class which i was using since 2008.

SEcondly, my left arm and shoulder is still weak and hence cannot lug the heavy camera and lenses.Sold off the heavy D3s And some lenses.

BUT all said and done, have recovered magnificently- Thanks to the powers that be.

Best wishes Earthian. Glad you made it through this trying time. Having lost a 40 year old friend to a heart attack in the bath, can see how close a call you had. Even if driving is ruled out, I do hope you are able
to resume travel / travelogues. Take care and good luck in 2023

The diplopia(double vision) needs to be sorted out. Thank you. Yes, it was a close call.

The beauty of travel is you can change the mode and means in line with the situation at hand and still have a blast. Get a driver or take other modes of transports (flights, trains, etc.) but keep the travel bug alive (and do post beautiful travelogues as always!).

Wish you all the more joy in your future endeavors as you continue on the road to recovery to complete health.

Thank you. That's precisely what my wife and son advise. Enjoy travelling- no matter if you have alternate means. And have a driver now.
