Brought back a whole lot of memories from my Bhutan trip in April 2019.
The detail of Phobjikha valley is interesting. Probably I should have planned for this and Haa Valley.

Thank you for your kind words. Good to know you have visited Bhutan as well.
Phobjikha valley is really beautiful and one must visit it when in Bhutan. The roads are also quite good and you need not be worried about anything. Haa Valley I also missed. There is always a next time hopefully. Quote:

The traffic there is a nightmare and one has to experience to understand the scale of it. Thanks for your feedback and will start blogging all my further drives for sure. Quote:

Rated a well deserved 5 stars. I have no words to express appreciation for your Honda City.
Your car is evident enough to show that a car well maintained serves loyally for ages...
Do open a thread and share your ownership experience with your beloved City ![Please](https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/images/smilies/Please.gif) .
Looking forward to reading many more travelogues with your City.

First of all thank you for your 5 star rating, it means a lot. Thank you for spending time and going through it in detail.
Any car well maintained should last a lifetime. But cars back then were simple and didn't have too many fancy gadgets and electronics in them. They were built for one purpose that is to be reliable and for driving only.
You will surely be hearing more from me in the future. Quote:

Thank you so much. Just a small correction, mine is not an ivtec its a vtec. I agree that finding a good stock vtec is difficult these days. Quote:

I can imaging what would have gone through your mind when,
1. you saw men with AK47 on the lonely road in the forest
2. A man stopping your car (CAA protest) in a totally new area/state with no one to help you should you land in an trouble.
You are lucky and I am sure its your "stars" that helped you in these situations as they say fortune favors the brave. |
Thank you so much and I knew its going to be a big adventure in the start and I was prepared and confident of my car. So good roads or bad roads we conquered it all.
Those tricky situations are times which bring the best out of you. You have to stay calm and think rationally with a cool head. If you start to hesitate and get restless you might end up being is serious trouble. That's what I have learnt through these experiences.
My stars did help me and I am lucky to have made it back in one piece with all that was happening back then in the country. Quote:

My Vtec. Don't plan on taking it on a trip like this. Attachment 2043848

Thank you so much. I was visiting these places for the first time and although I had seen and read about them on team bhp I had no one to go to or had any first hand knowledge about all the information that you have stated. So it was an adventure and a big unknown for me. Looking back it was all worth it though.
I'm glad to know you own a vtec as well and I would definitely suggest you to take it with you on long drives. It will definitely not let you down and you should enjoy driving it.
Thanks for sharing pictures of your Duster in Bhutan. I'm sure it must have been a breeze for the Duster. |
