Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum is an exhibit in the Seattle Center showcasing the studio glass of Dale Chihuly. It opened in May 2012 at the former site of the Fun Forest.
The project features three primary components : the Garden, the Glasshouse, and the Interior Exhibits, with significant secondary spaces including a 90-seat café with additional outdoor dining, a 50-seat multi-use theater and lecture space, retail and lobby spaces, and extensive public site enhancements beyond the Garden. The 100-foot-long installation inside of the Glasshouse is one of Chihuly's largest suspended sculptures. Designed with the help of architect Owen Richards, the facility was awarded LEED silver certification from the USGBC. (from Wiki)

As we enter, we are led into halls with magnificient colourful Glass exhibits with low ambient lighting, but well illuminated exhibits. Full justice cannot be done for poor Photography of exhibits in this case. Some of these are shared here.

A room we enter, with low level colourful Glass Sheets canopy laid on rafters. Must be back-lit by lighting above it and not sunlight, for consistent lighting in all weather and time of the day.

Some really beautiful work. To see his work in person is a different experience all together! You can easily get a sense for the scale of his work then.

In May this year, there was some of his work on display at Kew Gardens in London. (Hope you don't mind me attaching images to your thread!)

Thanks for sharing. A few months ago some of his work was exhibited in the Fries Museum, Leeuwarden, the Netherlands. My wife and I visited it, amazing stuff. Amazing life story as well.

I feel it would be much easier to take outdoor pictures than indoor with different an low lighting conditions. Juggled with ISO, Aperture and Speed to get something presentable.
