The impromptu trips do have their own charms. It lowers your expectations and subsequently you end up enjoying much more! It was a good read and it's nice to see that you are able to recollect the story in minute details from the trips that are done quite sometime ago. Keep posting!

Hey Blackpearl,
Were there places where you actually had to engage 4WD?
Curious to know since we are planning a trip shortly in a 2WD Scorpio and Ford Freestyle and was wondering if it might be difficult.

Hi SchrödingersCar, we did not have to engage 4WD anywhere. The Scorpio will be fine, not too sure about the Freestyle. If should be fine as well if it has got good ground clearance.
