This was somewhere on Route 22. I had taken it from moving car. We stayed at a vacation home in West Stockbridge. While going to Stockbridge on Friday evening, we took I90 because that was the fastest route and we were traveling after dark anyway. But on the way back, we took route 2, which is the Mohawk Trail from Williamstown MA. We stopped at Shelburne Falls on the way, a quaint small town on the river, whose main attraction is Bridge of Flowers:

For a moment, I was confused by the small steel lota.

Anyway, New England "looks" more European and less American.

Hahaha. For the best experience, tea/coffee should be always had in a steel lota or the glass tumblers found in roadside tea stalls. Anything else, it tastes artificial. The history of that lota dates back to 90s which was brought from a local steel shop in Vijayanagara, Bangalore

WoW! Wonderful picture! What colours, so beautiful! No wonder so many leaf-peepers from all over the world flock there.

Had done a lot of route research there including the leaf peeping routes, for my C2C US drive, Boston to SFO, will do it some day too.

Your pictures are the right fuel to re-kindle the dreams, though a little tired after the 4ends drive in Ireland last month.

Looking forward to more.... Thanks a lot of sharing.

New England is considered to be a haven of fall colors. Thanks for sharing. I wish it was less overcast when you visited these places

Re: USA: New England at its colourful best

I stayed in and around Boston various times during my official trips and the Kancamangus highway and White mountain regions is something i dont get bored off. I can easily relate to the beauty of the Echo lake. Nice Pics. Just brings back lots of memories. Cheers !!
