What I liked about this Drive:

• The location and planning done by hvkumar and his team. Not an easy task when you have 65+ cars and 200 people participating in the drive. Awesome job by these folks.

A man in his position could have easily just watched the proceedings from the sidelines.

• A chance to meet online friends in real and make new friends with few others.

• Spotted lot of team-bhp stickered cars, so I am sure there were many team bhpians in this meet. Didn't get much time to interact with all.

Overall it was a superb experience! Eagerly waiting for the next Monsoon drive!

There is no such elite group here for drives. As mentioned in my previous update, monitor the teambhp meet section and also you can monitor hvkumar's facebook page for drive plans.

65+ plus cars, wow, that was some drive. I must say, you guys really explored Panchgani. I haven't seen so much of Panchgani in my numerous drives till date. I Guess I should venture out and explore new places around too the next time

I was in Panchgani on 1st and 2nd of August. When did you guys go? Would have been great to catch up with Bhpians from Bangalore

Our drive was during July 24th-26th. So, it's one week before your visit. And good to know that we have explored places which even a regular has not explored

This travelogue by arun_josie is truly amazing. My salute to the entire team of BHPians who made this event a success. The type of roads done by the Ciaz is unbelievable and one can only dream of doing it on a 4X4 SUV. I wish to be a part of such great trips in the coming days.

1. How is the road condition from Bangalore to Mahabaleshwar? I assume it is good throughout?
2. This may be offtopic, but how is the road condition between Nipani to Radhanagari (i.e towards the west)?

The road condition was good all through except for the 4L stretch in MH limits, which is not up to the mark. Especially when you compare with the KA 4L stretch.

Even the roads on the ghat section are good.
