Re: Trip to Alberta, Canada

Hi v1kram

Love Canada for the greenary, Mountain and Snow.
Your snaps bought out best of the three.
Thanks

What about the inhabitants ? Canada I understand looks pretty deserted in countryside areas. Sometimes its hard to find an animal.

Thanks for your compliments Wanderers.
I haven't explored much as of now and the present weather conditions doesn't help either.
Will update this thread as and when I get a chance to explore further.

Re: Trip to Alberta, Canada

Had been a long time since I had a road trip, made a quick plan and headed out to the mountains, a 1100 km drive in about 16 hours.

Trip to Alberta, Canada-ip.png

Being a long weekend (Canada Day), some of the places were crowded but did give enough photo opportunity to all.

Icefield Parkway : "To travel the Icefields Parkway is to experience one of Canada's national treasures and most rewarding destinations. Stretching 232km (144mi.) through the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks World Heritage Site, this world-class journey offers access to a vast wilderness of pristine mountain lakes, ancient glaciers and broad sweeping valleys. This special travel route winds its way through two national parks, boasting a unique and irreplaceable landscape rich in history and natural beauty second to none".
