Re: Sonata Arctica : Chasing the Aurora

aah. So you finally made it. I'm sorry I could not join you. Wife and I were very keen to join in. I had too much of travel to other parts of Europe.

We had some extraordinary Auroras here in Finland as well. I did not manage any pix though.

you have some stunning pix in this thread. Kudos

Re: Sonata Arctica : Chasing the Aurora

Great going Tanveer. It was time for you to move across the frontiers. I always thought that what we see with our eyes in person is not what we remember in our pictures later, but you prove me wrong. One can almost see with your superb pictures and with your writing style I found myself questioning the very purpose of life going through your opening posts. Cheers.

Stunning pics and wonderful narration!! Chasing auroras has been my dream. Would love to follow your tracks someday. Watching them must've been surreal, wasn't it?

Re: Sonata Arctica : Chasing the Aurora

This is one of those out of the usual tours that I prefer to read about. Thanks Tanveer for giving us such a beautiful and poetic glimpse to Norway.

Rated 5 stars. I hope somebody manages to visit and write a travelogue to Alaska someday.

Re: Sonata Arctica : Chasing the Aurora

WOW...!!! Superb Place and hats off to your Photography skills. May i know the camera used please.

The pictures as they say do NOT speak 1000 words here, but a Milliion indeed. No words can convey how well they have been captured. Just brilliant.

Looking forward to more such snaps and travelogues.

Re: Sonata Arctica : Chasing the Aurora

WOW!!!

Tanveer, you are indeed a master of travelogue writing. I loved the way this thread opened up, in the now familiar tsk1979 style . And these superb photographs act as the icing on an already delicious cake.

I seriously believe that your pics show places much more beautiful than they really are. Already rated the thread 5 stars and hooked up to read the further posts. Looks like you hired a MINI. Kindly elaborate about this beauty too.

The F5 exercise is on. Please keep the posts coming (though I know it takes time to compile such masterpieces).

Speechless !

If I could take snaps half as good as any one here, in my life time, I will feel great about myself.

Keep travelling & let travelogues flow..

Awesome start Tanveer, the poetry of words and pictures just stuns you. Scandanavia sure does have raw beauty. Any reasons for renting a Mini and not an SUV or a sedan considering the luggage you were carrying?
