My wife and me both drive. Just the 2 of us in a Scorpio with the full length bench at the back. It serves as the bedroom when either of us got tired and needed a nap.

Reason we did it was to save a day. We could have stopped at Mumbai ( we regularly drive between Bangalore and Mumbai ) or even Ahmedabad. But this gave us an opportunity to see a bit of bhuj, do some shopping and yet reach Raan Utsav before noon.
