When I visited Corbett our host shared with me (on condition I don't share them in public) many amazing pictures given him by international wildlife photographers who had visited Corbett.

Seeing your pictures and their quality I must compliment your skills and in my opinion they rival the very best I have seen so far.

As always amazing pictures. I have always wanted to shoot birds. Hope to be able to do that one day and be inspired by your photos. Thanks for sharing these. When did you visit this place - the months in which you made these visits?

Thats quite a good arsenal for birds, in all these months of bird shooting i soon realized that 500mm is the minimum for them, even for some mammals. I certainly envy your collection of lens'

Re: Kanha National Park: Photologue

WOW!! Amazing pictures Robimahanta The tiger picture walking away from you is pretty good. Like it's telling you " Go away, I am not interested". You have a good eye for pictures and the colors are quite vibrant. I should visit this national park sometime soon with my DSLR (leaving family behind of course, else can't see the way i want to and capture it to my satisfaction). Keep the pictures flowing. Rated 5 starts.

Re: Kanha National Park: Photologue

Ok eventually it leads me to post the picture of the mammal for which Kanha is famous for. I just had a brief tiger sighting but it was a beautiful sighting of a young female in good light during the morning jeep safari.

Re: Kanha National Park: Photologue

The second photograph is what this whole thing is about. The animal is in such a subtle yet emphatic manner indicating that this is it's home and unless humans are willing to respect that they are not welcome. It's giving you a choice to respect and above all to live and let live. Is that asking too much of humans?

Robi,

Awesome photographs..great composition..superb landscapes.

Truly a 5 star deserving thread (on, just its second page). There is so much I could write on the photographs, let me do that after a few more returns to your thread.
