Congratulations! Its amazing you bought the diesel for "pure driving pleasure". Its true that there's only one "first car"! Buying a Figo really is a wise decision considering the entire package, i even managed to convince a friend to get one Can't wait to drive it.
Do post some pictures of the interiors. What colour dash did you get?

Great buy. Opting for Diesel is the best thing you did.
What is the color of dash you opted for? is it Coral or Black.

Congradulations for the Red dragon! White and Red are two good colours that go well with Figo. Wishing you safe and happy miles!

No pictures, yet!
Red is the first color I saw in the showroom, but opted for the white diamond!
A dull gray was also on display, apart from the ever-present squeeze all over the place!

The first scratch

Sorry for the delay in uploading the pics guys. Actually I was busy in getting married and an extended leave after that, hence the delay.

Anyways here are the pics of the RED DRAGON. Not all pics are soothing to the eye. Yesterday took out the car after about 15 days or so and went for a movie. While taking it out of the BIG Cinemas Chinchwad parking lot, the left rear wheel arch got scratched

I am a new driver and am very catious while parking her at tight spots, but last night was a real tight spot and I was in hurry. The scratch is about 15 cms long and the paint has been scraped. The sound that came out when she scraped the concrete pillar was my heart breaking into zillion pieces, I got out immediately to check the damage and I was literally crying !!!

Please let me know how much would it cost to get it repaired and suggest me any good denting/painting garage in and around Aundh in Pune. Would it be better to get the scratch fixed during the first service?

Apart from this she is performing brilliantly. I am able to get a mileage of around 15 in city with A/C on 100%. Have not taken her out on the highway yet. Now that I am being able to keep her in the right powerband the car is simply a joy to drive. The engine is at its best on the 4th gear at about 2k rpm and speeds of 70 kmph.

At all her glory

Love the OEM seat covers, dropped my plans of getting aftermarket ones after using them for a few days.

The last time I tanked her up the DTE showed something around 680. However I calculate the mileage on a tank to tank method by which it comes around 15 in city 100% AC.

Sorry about the scratch! first one always hurts. If you didn't know this already, insurance claims are nowadays rejected when the claimed after a long time post the accident. So, i recommend getting your car's scratch removed through the appropriate claim process asap.

That's an awesome figure - 680!!!
The best I got was 561, and then it went down to 520 or so!
You mean DTE cannot be trusted at all?
