A Petes box on the Figo may not be a great idea as it does not have an intercooler.

It's the same engine and the Fiesta does not have an intercooler either. I have not heard of any Fiestas running a Petes Box till now.

Hi,

Off topic:

The Lineas and Puntos use a synthetic oil marketed by Fiat with the brand name Selenia.

The Manza Quadrajet has a recommendation for this too.

My Marina survives easily for 10000kms in whatever mineral oil the service centre puts in.

Pete's website lists a version available for the Fiesta. The power / torque curve is not very encouraging though.

The car's done 3200 kms now and I'm very happy with it so far. I list the minor irritants below:
I wish there was a setting that will stop the music system from playing after I hang up a call. It can be a little irritating at times.
There's a loud thud from the front struts when the car jumps over humps, especially when it's unladen.
The floor mats that came with the car looks good, but they will have to be replaced in a few months. It's already showing signs of wear and the monsoon's not even here. Also the driver side mat is not designed for size 10+ shoes.

I get the same thud sound ! Revvy also complained about the same.
Joe this sound wasn't there from the beginning right?

Same issue with the floor mats! The driver side is already half worn out in mine

@ Captain I think the sound was there from the start, just that I was more careful at bumps. I had the same sound in the Lancer too. I think it's the opposite of bottoming out! Topping out maybe?

<<<RGK, the thread is on the inside.>>.

Thanks Joe. Bit relieved. Studs from drum/disc will help to fix the tire easily.

The main problem IMO in the Figo is, cramped footwell, it is not designed for size 10+ shoes, as Joe has mentioned.

I love this thread. Over with the plain looking title, it should be named the Figo diary. Living with a Figo.

Nicely written bud. Now, how many Figo owners here? I can count 3, the two thomas' and CaptainSlow..

@cartman Thanks! That'll make a great title. That's exactly what this thread is.

Fellow Figo owners : Let's see, There's Gemithomas, Captain Slow, Revvy, Joe and I.. That makes 5 of us. Did I miss someone?
