If you can post a pic of the rear seat leg space with the front seats pushed all the way back and one-all the way front,That would give us all an idea of the available leg space
Yes Gemi, please post some pictures.

Congrats Joe ! Figo in white looks awesome.

How does the Steering feel in city traffic ? I felt the IKON-D's Steering on the harder side and requires some effort in manouvering.
Does the engine sound seep into the cabin as in Ikon-D ?
How's the Gear shifts ? Do they slot in perfectly unlike the IKON-D ?
Does it have a dead pedal ?

Hope you have a ball with the FIGO.

Thanks 2themax. I haven't driven the Ikon-D but the Figo's steering is lighter than the Fiesta's. It doesn't need much effort in heavy traffic. I don't know how the lighter steering will feel in speeds above 120 kmph though.
I just drove the spare Fiesta Kairali Ford provided. The Fiesta's cabin felt a little less noisier than the Fiigo though. The diesel clatter wasn't as audible. I'll have to recheck once my car get's here.
The Ikon's gearbox have a problem? I haven't noticed any with the Figo's so far. I think RGK posted here that both use the same gearbox.
Dead pedal is missing in the Figo.

Oops missed this thread. Congrats mate on the First Figo on Team Bhp.

The white color looks lovely on the car. The red dash is a little too flashy in my opinion, everything else in the car is spot on.

Will go through this thread in detail

Thanks nkrishnap.

The car's back! It reached around 11:45 pm. The car was almost as clean except for the cigarette ash on the dashboard. Ford needs to get some non-smoking drivers. Atleast the car didn't smell of cigarette smoke. The new car smell is still intact : The odo reads 1750 kms now. Looks like I'll have to get the 1st service done before the Coorg trip. Or maybe get it serviced in Mysore.

On a closer look, looks like they really 'tested' the car, including the alloys. One of the alloy cap is missing and there's a scratch on the alloy. There's no sign of abuse on the tyres though. I don't think there's no point raising a complaint because the drivers will claim that the damage was already there and I've no evidence to prove otherwise. No more extended testing, Ford.
I hope a spare league cap is available at pitstop. I had a tough time sourcing one when my Lancer's caps went missing.

After driving the Fiesta, the Figo felt lighter. Maybe it's the steering, but the suspension also felt different, in a good way. Maybe it's because the car's brand new and the Fiesta had 63,000 kms on the odo.

Good to hear the car is back. Did you check in the engine bay. Have they really changed the alternator. Is it a neat job. Does everything still look intact?

Hope everything goes well from here. Happy Motoring.

@Gemi the engine bay looks intact, except for the faint spanner markings on the nuts that holds the alternator in place. I think they've replaced it. They've done a neat job there.

I too hope everything goes fine from here.

I went for a short test drive of Diesel Figo and found it much more drivable than my i20 CRDi. Turbo lag is so much less. I had the same impression for i20 when I test drove it but after buying i found its got huge turbo lag. I cannot shift to 5th gear till 60-70 kmph. but that is not the case with Figo

Gemi, between the adventure and the figo , which is the more driver oriented car for you ?

Especially on the ride and handling part ?

I feel the Figo is best for city use while the i20 excels on the highways. The figo is no match for the i20's mid-top end but it's low end's extremely good.

There should be a better way to know who started the thread without going to the first page.

I'll be going back next week, the day before easter. The route is Thekkady-Kattappana-Idukki-Neryamangalam-Kothamangalam.

On the way to thekkady, before Kuttikkanam, visit Parunthumpara, then there's Chellarkovil, Ramakkalmedu.. Lots of places are there. The drive down to Kambum is also good. There are lots of good hotels here but I won't be able to give an unbiased opinion.

@joe
Any warranty void issues if upgrading tyres to 185/65 r14 or 185/65 r14?
