The alloys were introduced around Oct -Nov 2011 not very sure of the date, hence all previous Titanium versions don't have the alloys.

My comments inline, in your post quoted below.

Thanks a lot buddy, will be looking forward to seeing the pics.

The only offers i got on the Diesel were
1. The basic accessory kit
2. 5.3k cash discount
3. Third year warranty worth 4.5k

I think you got a sweet deal there, especially with the Figo diesel selling in good numbers. Which dealer by the way, Harpreet Gurgaon? If yes, who was the sales-person?

I still don't know how to go to high beam

Just pull the LHS stalk towards yourself & it will lock itself into place for the high beam.

Yes I bought my Titanium in April 2010 and it came without alloys and fogs. I got the fogs installed later. Still contemplating on the alloys. However the new models with the alloys look neat

Also with Alloys and fog lamps, USB cable also got added inside glove box for Titanium. Earlier, Ford were charging some 1.2k for this cable.
Look at those cool alloys in new face lift model which is expected this diwali.

Small Query on the tell tale lights on the dash for the lighting system on the Figo Titanium...

When I rotate the dial clockwise and pull it out, it switches on the headlamps and fogs. Now the respective icons light up on the dashboard for them in green. I noticed that there is one more pull out step in the dial and this lights up a yellow icon. Which is a mirror of the fog light icon. Could someone shed some "light" on what this icon is for.

The second pull is to activate rear fog lamps. But when I pulled twice nothing lit up in the rear. Mine is titanium. Did any one noticed rear fog lighting ?

Even I am just wondering about the same. I don't see any extra lights light up when the knob is pulled out for the second time.

Well, I checked the manual and it does not say anything about this third yellow icon. Will try and take a picture which makes it clear.

As far as I know, even in titanium, there are 2 or three empty slots without bulbs in the Christmas tree rear light arrangement. One of which is for rear fogs, the wiring for which already exists. The second pull should activate this.

In fact I vaguely remember, someone had fixed these bulbs, making the brake lights brighter in this thread IIRC. There was an image as well.

In the manual, go to first page of "Lighting" (page#31) it says the second pull is for rear fog lamps.
After that they have shown how to operate front fogs, but not shown about rear fog lamps.

re: Review: 1st-gen Ford Figo (2010)

I had the extra slots filled with bulbs from Harpreet ford, gurgaon. This helps specially with more lighting on high way drives and reversing in dark sports (by applying the brake, the illumination increases)... no warranty issues since got it done at the F.A.S.S...
