re: Review: 1st-gen Ford Figo (2010)

Has anyone got pictures of the updated Figo Titanium?

Some pics of the new additions, specially the alloys wheels will be great! Has this pulled up the prices, or pricing remains the same?

I had called up the ford RSA but they referred me to some other dealer not much help. So i called up Metro Ford.
They did not charge anything except i paid their up and down toll fees and also lunch money.
It was free otherwise. If my car had to be towed then towing charges were applicable at 20 per km. Since it was an electrical problem so no charges and no towing.

Happy to be here! My car is a February 2011 model. The stock headlights are ok for the highway but on some inner roads its difficult to spot things on the road.
My stock bulb is a halonix 55/60 W, will upgrade to x-treme vision as mentioned in the auto lighting thread!

Thanks

I spoke to the ford customer service on the new lamps, they have no information on the specifications but they say its of same wattage with high illumination and requested to check with the nearest dealer. I wanted to specifically know if its better than Philips one, but they have no idea.

Not mandatory, your the boss & you can tell them not to do it. And more often service centres dont follow the manual most of the time.
They never offered this to me during 10K, Instead I got mine done at 20K.

Ford have added 3 new features on the Titanium variant of Figo:
-14-Inch Alloy Wheels.
-Tilt Steering.
-USB port for Music System.

Below I'm attaching the pics of New Figo TITANIUM with Alloy wheels.

While I felt not much importance in clicking the pics of its Tilt Steering adjustment knob & USB cable in its Glovebox.

re: Review: 1st-gen Ford Figo (2010)

Looks like the same alloy design being offered as a accessory. Thought ford would introduce a new design. Not much of a change in the car overall.
I guess its high time Ford updated its petrol engine, poor mileage with low power is seriously killing it! if ford can manage to sell 5k+ cars per month with 80%(according to the goa dealer!) diesels only, imagine if the petrol version had a better heart?? 7-8k sales figure can easily be managed! but I guess its too much to ask of Ford!

re: Review: 1st-gen Ford Figo (2010)

Getting my Panther black titanium this monday. Any pre delivery checks requried in specific apart from the usual checkes? I decoded the VIN number of the car which was assigned to me and it's a oct-2011 mfg car. One check done. Anything else to be added to the check list? And btw, I chose the titanium as I give first priority to safety.

EDIT: One more question. Does the stock audio system have pre outs? and where is the Mic located?

Got a call from Planet Ford yesterday. There is a winter camp being organised by Ford between 14th and 17th December which will offer free general checkup and a few components at reduced price.
