I am worried becoz these are from FORD without bills and not sure if the FORD service center would help me without tracking that part number. Do not want to put the person who is going to give me the plates in trouble.

@sanjay: I tried to search for those blue light stuff and i am unable to find one, it does look really cool with the blue lights but cant figure the place to get it.

Haute Car Zone is too costly, i did check with them for my Art leather seat covers they had quoted 9K for autoform whereas i was able to get the same brand from the distributor at 4.5K and i went in for Jackspeed for 4.9K ... They did not have the blue light scuff plates for fiesta.

Ok, we don't want to know how you got it from Ford 'without' bill. We can assume they fell off the truck. lol

The plates are just stuck with glue. Any mechanic will be able to fix it for you. Just use good quality glue.

sanjayc, you are right. The rear scuff plates are quite small.

imo, the car should be brand new-straight from the factory. (Most of the dealers
dont bring so many cars at a time without booking and keep it in their yard). The Registration date is considered by many and that is date (and ofcourse the insurance date) taken for estimating the age of the car?
The car Manufacturing matters only when purchased in the First quarter of the year, so that you do not end up getting old year chassis, otherwise it is the same thing if you buy after that

Snap of SXI Diesel when i went for my booking of SXI Petrol

You can ask the dealer guy to fix it (if needed you can tell him that one of your friend bought this for his car and you took it from him since he is going for something else?)

Original FORD scuff plates photo is there in my other thread.

How long does it take to get the scuff plates fixed? And do the dealers' workshops also stock accessories or are they only available from their showrooms?

most dealers (workshop as well as showroom) will have this kind of accessories readly available to show to the buyers (these are all some extra income for them).

Chennai Ford Dealer - Does anyone know of any references here or suggestions to deal with them wrt discounts, accessories like Sun Film etc? This would really help.

Whenever I ask the Sales Rep to reduce the price on some accessory he'll start whinning that the car is already given on a 65K discount:(

I need the following:
1. Metallic trim on the door handles
2. Sun Film
3. Body coloured side door moulding with chrome (Are they kidding? 7K for that!)

P.S: They've earned thousands servicing my Ikon

I presume there are more members who own fiesta but seems not actively participating in the forum hence we dont have their details. Otherwise it could have been close to 100 by now.

Yes, if anyone from FORD reading this thread or all fiesta threads in the forum, they should think of throwing a new year party for all TBHP fiestans

1 - metallic door handle - Costs Rs.1000 for 4 ( I just fitted it from ford
dealer only) (and @kumar7 got it at Rs.1033 - may be some difference
in Tax)
2 - Film (I have not yet done)
3- Body coloure side door moulding with chrome line - I paid Rs.5050/-
including body colour painting.(through my dealer)?
