I too had the instructions (Global Opening) with me, I've also tried it. Sadly, it doesn't work.

BUt the two stage opening is also not working for me. can someone else confirm.

PS. the Self Diagnostics Mode works

Svs1976 and sathee46 - already tried (global opening) and failed.
seems Shaju has given enough work for everyone.
So,now you are waiting for Shaju to try and give the result?

Waiting patiently!! Nair saab, one of these days you should come over to Bangalore. Business can be a nice excuse! And then we'll go to Shaju's place and try all this out!!

@unni

am planning for a trip to Chennai for some meetings - purely official and then I have few old friends there to meet but yet to finalise the date.
Probably I will drive via Bangalore.
On my return, I will plan to stay one day in Bangalore (Intention is to stay one of the country club hotels. I think they have 2 or 3 hotels in Bangalore. Since I am a member with them, I may get some discounts on the room tariff, food and chilled soda/mineral water etc?).
shall let you know - but prior to that Shaju should not spoil his beautiful car by inventing new settings (global opening etc)

Wow, what a pleasing way of telling "We need to have some fish curry from shaju's place".

I am interested in the chilled soda ! I have never heard anyone spoiling their car by rolling the window glass up and down, we anyway do that every now and then, so do it with a purpose. I will try to find out more hidden features.LOL. As long as we have 62+ Fiestas to experiment, no point of worry ! May be we could give some hard-time to the Ford R&D too !

Aren't we all. Maybe we should have trial meet with some chilled soda, kind of a rehearsal. You've my number, just call (this weekend I'm home)

For such things, I shed my laziness and get pretty active. I've learned early on that one shouldn't dilly-dally with decisions like these!!

Lets not do anything of that sort. I've already envisioned the meet in Country Club, please don't scare him away now!!

@shaju + Unni

One thing - You cannot scare me.

+
Shaju - So you have decided to experiment more and more hidden features. Who knows, one day Ford may hijack you and make you the head of thier R&D

So the next bangalore meet is fixed at Country Club, hosted and presided over by Nairsaab the Great !! Wow, I can already imagine the adrenalin rush that goes through the Bangalore members. Its so kind of you Nairsab, we need such humanitarian and magnanimous members in our team-bhp family.

I am running for cover, please dont search for me .

Shaju, you missed one critical part of his message, "@shaju + Unni". He has never mentioned any where about all of Team-BHP Bangalore!!

And, lets stop this here. People will wonder whats all the mess!

Yes, I agree 100%, lets not spam this lovely place. Members who read 'here and there' will understand it this way:

"Nairsab is fed up of the non-existing feature experiments suggested by Shaju and tested by Unni, therefore He is coming to Bangalore Country Club in his Fiesta with a double barrel gun. People who are courageous enough can meet him".

I am out of this, sorry for spaming the thread, now back to finding out more hidden features of our Fiesta !

Global Opening (One touch rolldown) - Tested in 1.6ZXI and it failed. No Change in window operation
Antihijack feature (Autoclosing) - Yet to Test
1. Turn on ignition until the dash lights come on but don't start engine!
2. Lock the door using the lever on the door handle and then unlock 3 Times
3. Turn off ignition
4. Repeat 2 but with ignition OFF
5. Turn on ignition - should hear a beep
6. Lock door again as in 2 BUT ONLY ONCE - final beep should be heard
7. Done!
Doors should now lock at around 5mph. including reverse!!!
Can someone explain what is 2 stage locking/ unlocking? please let me know if my thoughts are inline with the 2 stage concept.
Press the unlock button once to open the driver side door, press it again to open other doors. Press the lock button once to lock driver side door and press it again to lock all doors. Is this the concept?

Today morning after parking the car in office the engine was on for a minute (diesel logic) + the blower + headlamp. After one minute I turned off the engine (blower was still on + headlamp was also ON I believe) and opened the driver door and in few minute I heard Beep..Beep sound coming from dashboard.

I was bit confused why its making this sound then I thought door was open too long so I closed the door but still it was doing Beep. Then I turned off the headlamp then blower but no luck. I tried opening & closing the door couple of times while sitting in the car and after few combination of door closing and turning off blower/headlamp the beep sound is stopped. I don't know what was the reason and with what combination it stopped this Beep. Any clue?

That's really cool man. Let me try and enable this feature first thing in the morning. I really missed this autolock feature in Fiesta.

BTW, is there a way to get the car to beep when locking it through remote? That's another feature i miss in the remote lock.
