It was actually a PDF file with 7 tips right from anti-hijack, window one-touch, 2 stage locking/unlocking, new key programming etc. but only 3 of them are applicable to the Indian Fiesta, so I am quoting them here:

1.Self Diagnostics Mode

The Self Diagnostics Mode gives you in-depth information about your engine and the actual numbers in digital. To use it, follow the steps:

1. Insert Key but do not turn it on
2. Press and hold the Trip Meter Reset Button
3. While holding the reset button, Turn ignition until dash lights come on and continue holding the button
4. Within 10 seconds, the display should change to "test" in LCD font and the needles will do a full sweeping.
5. Release the Button
6. Pressing the button will now cycle through some 17 different modes
* 1. Shows a Gauge Sweep
* 2. Shows all 8's on the LCD (LCD TEST)
* 3. Illuminates all the bulbs on the dash
* 4. Displays hexadecimal value for ROM level
* 5. Displays the hexadecimal value for EE level
* 6. Shows DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code)
* 7. Digital Speedometer - mph
* 8. Digital Speedometer - kph
* 9. N/A
* 10. Digital tachometer
* 11. Fuel volume
* 12. Engine coolant temperature
* 13. Battery voltage
* 14. ABS fail
* 15. Electronic brake distribution (EBD) failure
* 16. Illumination
* 17. Crank Sense

2. Two Stage Unlocking
Press both Lock and Unlock buttons on your key at the same time, wait until the indicator lights flash once. When complete, two stage unlocking will be activated / deactivated accordingly.

Third point is about new Key programming, I dont think we do it ourselves anyway, so omitting that part.

PS: Please test this at your own risk, I dont think these are mentioned anywhere in our manuals. I will anyway check them this weekend.
Some of the error codes for Ford Fiesta as seen in Fordownersclub.com
"
The following table shows DTC descriptions. As mentioned before, the codes mean very little. Before tests are run, there's lots of steps that need to be taken. If you suspect something is wrong, have your computer scanned with an OBD-II scanner. Many auto parts stores do this for free. Dealers usually charge for this.

9202 Fuel sender open circuit
9204 Fuel sender short to ground
9213 Anti-theft number of programmed keys is below minimum
A103 Antenna not connected-defective transceiver
9232 Antenna not connected-defective transceiver
9317 Battery Voltage high
9318 Battery voltage low
9342 ECU is defective

9364 Ignition Start circuit open
9600 PATS Ignition Key Transponder Signal is Not Received - Damaged Key or non-PATSKey

I did manage to get one snap and I wanted to share it with you guys. Maybe the camera's CCD melted 'cos the car is so hot.
Congrats Gilead.

You are not supposed to put mudflaps in S. It will spoil the look of the car. Any car with styling kit don't need the mudflaps.

More over the wheels in 1.6S sits little inside. So you will not get the splash from the wheels on the body.

@shajufx

Thats new information - but I have a doubt that Ford dearler service engineers
may have got this inorder for them to check the fault in a car. Ford might have thought that it is not much useful for car owners hence kept out of from the manual.

Anyway @unni is trying and lets see the result?

What is two stage unlocking?

I would have loved to have the one touch opening feature, is there way to make this happen?

Any suggestions for keeping the front grills clean and new? I've noticed that the grill looses its gloss/freshness pretty fast, especially in a black Fiesta.

Thanks. I have no plans to put mud flaps. I agree that it will stick out like a sore thumb on the car.

What is one touch opening? Currently the doors unlock with a single touch on the remote. I suppose you are referring to something else?

@Sathee46

I am not getting what do you mean by 'one touch opening feature'?

The Ford key can be programmed for opening/closing only driver side door (this is good when the car is mostly used by one person - no need to open /close all 4 doors everytime?)

This feature was already explained in this thread

Keep pressing the locking and unlocking button on your key simultaneously for 4 seconds. At the end you will see the indicator light flashing. The system is now activated. Unlock/lock -only driver side door will open/close.

SOrry i was not clear, I meant one touch/global window opening/closing. Like in the Honda city, where you touch it once and it closes by itself. could be helpful at times.

Sathee, there are directions for global opening, but I havent got time to check it out. This is from a UK user, not sure if it can work on our Indian version. You can check it and tell us. I dont think any of these experiments will harm our car by any chance, because if the function is not built-in, it will just ignore our exercises, nothing more than that.

Global Opening
To reset the windows, follow these steps:

1. Hold the switch down until the window is all the way down
2. Release the switch then hold down again for 5 seconds
3. Press the switch so the window goes all the way up
4. Release the switch and press it up, again for 5 seconds
5. The window will now be set for one touch and global opening/closing.
Repeat this procedure for each individual window...

PS: Its not yet checked on the Indian version, so need to test and see. If it works.... Eurekaaaa !!!!

Ford Fiesta OR Magic Fiesta

All of sudden seems Fiesta is capable of doing magic, But I wont be surprise if someone checks these magic options and come up saying that none of them works with Indian Fiesta.

LOL, beast my fieast, you win the cake for the day !!!
All whatever I have posted on fiesta tips are features that really works on UK fiesta (thanks to the one who forwarded me the pdf file), so if some of them work on ours, well and good, otherwise its a chance-taking trying them. Global opening is a feature directly connected to the type of motor used inside the door panel. So, lets see if it works. All of us are happy with what we have, so if you can find some hidden features that are not highlighted or advertised, we are plain lucky. Thats all.

Yeah, I would be more than happy to have these features, but I dont know why they dont launch it in Indian version, the simplest reason is price. But for Indian buyers the options should be there at least even for some premium cost.

I really like to have these kind of features in the products I use.

Someone please check them and have the tick marks against each feature saying which works and which doesn't.

Just tried this on my 1.4 Zxi and It didn't work. When I did the 2nd and 4th step above, I could hear some sort of a click sound and I almost thought it worked

You guys are making me miss our fiesta back home.
I am waiting to come back and get into her. If there are any questions about the 1.4TDCi version, feel free to ask me guys.
Here's a question:
- Are there any accessories I can pick up for her from the US?
I am not interested in ICE and will be getting that stuff later on once I save enough and improve my grades (self-motivation).
