^Wow Looking nice!

What Brand DRLs are those?

I was thinking of getting these - My Hella Lights :: LEDayFlex DRL
(as they're kinda adjustable)

+ ordered a scangauge too! Will connect it to my i20 and update when I get it!

Re: Feels like i'm 20 now - Hyundai i20 Asta 1.2

Hey guys, quick question.

I completely understand seat belt is a must to wear, no second thought. But i have a special requirement due to unavoidable reasons for co-driver not to wear seat belt.

Any idea how to stop the beep sound from i20 seat belt warning system which beeps at periodic intervals, when co-driver is not wearing seat belt? Is it possible to suppress.

The last I heard from the Service Advisor at Hyundai is that its not possible. Try sourcing the clip that goes into the seat belt socket(If I may call it that ). I too feel that seat belt is a must always, but I can understand your problem, I have also faced it and had to convince lots of people about the importance of seat belts.

Un-clip the wire socket from under the passenger seat or use a dummy seatbelt buckle (see picture below) which you source easily from the local market/junk yard.

I dont think unclipping wire sockets is a good idea. Instead you can just put the seat belt and then ask the co passenger to sit. I think that will do. It also gives you flexibility
But do try and wear it whenever it is possible.

Pancham you are right. I guess unclipping the wire socket will disable side Airbags on Driver Seat/Passenger Seat Asta Optional Models with 6 Airbags.

Re: Feels like i'm 20 now - Hyundai i20 Asta 1.2

Just finalized a Hyundai i20 Sportz Bluetooth - Silver. Details of accessories provided below.

Meanwhile, I am unable to verify the validity of the VIN. None of the sites or documents show this as a valid VIN. Can someone help please. I can see that its manufactured in 2011, but cant trust it unless the VIN is valid.
VIN: MALBB51BLBM301370.

FYI, I am getting the following accessories for Rs 8850 with my dealer in Bangalore:
- 3M Under Chassis Treatment
- 3M RE 50 Sunfilm
- 3M Paint Protection
- Hyundai-Autocop Reverse Parking Sensor with Mirror display
- Glovebox Lamp

Standards are included: Mats, Mud Flaps, Door Scuffs (instead of car cover).

Re: Feels like i'm 20 now - Hyundai i20 Asta 1.2

Congrats vickrum. You VIN number should be 19 characters. I guess you are looking at number in the sticker in rear side glass. Check the complete VIN number in chassis below the driver seat.

Please check Wildon's thread on VIN for month & year details to cross check.
From which dealer you are buying from?

Re: Feels like i'm 20 now - Hyundai i20 Asta 1.2

Got a Scangauge2 for my i20 and was more than happy to find out that its compatible!

Loads of functions in it incl. Real time mileage and distance and time to empty (Check out ScanGaugeII - Trip Computers + Digital Gauges + Scan Tool for info on more functions!! (Loads of em!!))

Had a run in the i20 today on the expressway with scangauge connected and took a few pics!

Note - I made sure that I was the only one driving with no one around for at least a km before taking these pics.

The position of the gauge is temporary and I used it there for testing purposes. I'm open to any suggestions as to the scangauge's placement though!

HPR is the real-time horsepower (the horsepower engine is creating currently)

(was quite surprised that we don't go over 30 in normal driving! 30 too in a lil' spirited one!)
