Congrats on the ride man, good to have another Safari owner on here, excellent price for an EX best colour too. Good you done your damping, it will make a tremendous difference as and when you upgrade your ICE.

Enjoy

I can confirm for the smoothness but I didn't have to pay anything for the latch.

Sorry for hijacking this thread ! Its a minor problem with the front suspension making a 'tak' sound when over a speed breaker. It was rectified earlier but has come back again. Will go to the TASS again or rather will ask them to pick it up this time ..

Wonderful vehicle one question what is the color of console panels ? In the picture it is looking like Almunium Silver ( like LX) instead of chequred golden of EX.

I think I sent a PM to you some time back are you working in Bagmane tech park ?

Well first service is totally FOC so what for you payed 495 Rupees ? I think that should be latch.

JK see the picture of latch and part number with cost in 2.2 VTT thread.
I think 495 is labor.

That is steering idler nut adjustment but should not reoccur so ask them to raise the vehicle and check the lower arm and ball joints as well. Over to DADU for more explanation if required.

Great photos!

Since we are in a Blackie's thread, let me share my experience with the Reddie' type.

In my last highway drive and the recent OTR, what I have noticed is that the dirt does not show up on the Red! On the highway run, the kind that I have done many times with my black Alto, I know how it will look at the end of the run. But with the red color, a distant viewing will not show any dirt!

Similarly the OTR, unless you get up-close-and-personal, you will not see the dirt.

Am happy that I need to spend less time cleaning the big guy. Else it would have been daily early-morning wash for an hour!
