Hi guys very informative thread .

I need Help .

Since today morning i am getting this indicator turned on in the instrument console .

This light is in orange and is located just above the turn signal indicator , and between the Speedo & Tachometer .

I am attaching a badly reproduced Image of the same , sorry for the poor quality of image .

This light turned on all of a sudden when i was driving in traffic today and due to a idiot cutting me off suddenly i had to stop abruptly , the car was in gear and the engine stalled [ switched off ] .

This is driving me nuts and i am in office , not being able to concentrate on work ..!

Punto Owners , Please let me know what this is .!

P.S - Everybody @ office is impressed with the punto [ yeah mine is the first one in office , and are asking a zillion questions ]

+1 to nav75. Not engaging the clutch fully is likely to damage the gearing.

Along with the light indication that you mention, MID should be showing the nature of fault also.

Wind_rider,

I think you need to get the RHS bulb changed.

I faced the same issue in a similar incident to yours. The problem was found to be with the front indicator bulb. Got it changed from the Fiat Workshop. They charged about 50 bucks since bulbs are not covered in warranty.

@Wind Rider. Yes, one of the lamps could be loosely fitted or malfunctioning. Nothing serious though. Guess you need to visit the dealership and get it checked.

I am having the same problem and in my case too the right indicator is working although its blinking speed has quickened.

now i will tell him it looks like a ZOZO . he is a big vodafone fan maybe he will start to like it. he is a big ZOZO maniac.

Yes , intermittently .
Since yesterday night the warning is not coming .
The funny thing is that when i use central locking all the indicator lights flares up and work properly .

I have to , as my front water sprayer is not working . the back wiper & Sprayer are working properly , in the front only the wiper works properly .

I checked the nozzle to see if it is jammed or something , but could not find anything topped up the water in the reservoir.

Hmmm, this is unacceptable in a 5 day old car
My dealership has to pay dearly for this , somebody is going to get an earful .

No offence i think your friend doesn't have good taste , nor does he understand aesthetics of a car , i suppose .
But then again perception is an individual thing .!

BTW : What car does he drive .

It seems, our puntos are twins
Even my punto had the problem of the front nozzle for water spray not working. Check the hose supplying water to the nozzle inside the bonnet for any pinch.

, I think so too .

They might have been separated in the huge stockyard out of the factory , packed off and shipped to seperate locations .

Your punto stayed in a area near to the factory in Pune , hoping that the " Brother " would one day return .

And Mine is telling me to take it on a trip to Bombay so that it can stop near Pune maybe ..!
