Hey Shaju, you mentioned in several posts that you were going to get Stanley. M issues? I personally feel the one you settled for is a lot more VFM. Will it say 'G Sport' on the seat? G Sport sounds a lot like something else.

Yajaman, I havent seen any seats so far, so its taking a chance. Lets see how it comes out.

Gil, its not about the M part. Frankly speaking, I dont want to waste my time driving all the way to the 'ever jammed' heart of the city, leave the car to some strangers, then again go back all the way to pick it up. Thats what made me think of alternatives nearer to me.

Gsport is just 5 kms from my place and on the international airport route (Bellary road) which is a pleasure to drive and takes less than 10 mts. What more can I ask for ? Time is Money !! Literally.

I also spoke to the main distributor who does the work, he knows team-bhp very well, asked my userID too, looks like he is familiar with my username. So, my expectations are gone high already !!

Fiesta is now 'Gsport'ed !

I got my seats fitted today. It took less than 3 hours. Stock fabric is not removed, but used them as the base for stitching, clipping etc. Overall I find the work perfect to my liking, cant find any faults. Fitting in certain corners are not fully perfect, but I am instructed to ignore it for a week or two, so by usage it stretches and fits perfectly. Details for others' benefit:

Art leather seat Brand : Gsport Europa
Total Cost: 9.5k
Order placed on Thursday, 22nd April, only seats
Ready to install call from the shop on Saturday, 24th April
Work done on my convenience; 26th Monday 10am to 12.30pm

Now some pics.

Yajaman, I hope its a good decision, may be only time will prove that. A perfect fitting might happen only by some usage as certain areas need to get some weight application.

Nairji, neck pillows are my home production ! It was mentioned in this thread few months back with photographs.

A minor interior wipe with some cleaner spray is required to get the markings, signs of installation etc to be clear. I think I also need to melt some thread-ends in couple of places to achieve the finish.

shaju nice work there pal. Beige actually gives me jitters in-terms of the fact that they get dirty soon and you gotto keep cleaning them. I cant imagine if it was in the Scorp. I did easily loose a few kgs every month only by cleaning them.

Riju, people who know me will agree 100% to my selection of beige. I dont waste my time cleaning the body or seats to make an impression, infact I wait for a rain to take a spin and get the car cleaned by itself, later giving a mild wipe. May be I am getting lazier as part of aging.

I thought of black, but that would give a life-less feel inside with no brightness around. Beige is bright, full of life, lots of light around, giving a refreshing feel too. So, I didnt think twice. Special thanks to you for guiding me to Gsport, I would have missed whats near my house. I didnt bargain anything with Sanjeeth, was it required ? I dont know.

By the way, I got a warranty card of 2 years for any manufacturing defect like stitching, colour bleeding, rubbing fastness (I dont know what it means) etc.

My Fiesta is completing 10 months tomorow and the ODO has just crossed 5000 kms, thanks to Unni for the 660 kms drive up and down Bangalore-Pondy last weekend.

Things of 10 months in brief:

1. Auto Cop Parking Master reverse sensor with beep and LEDs installed
2. Tires changed to Michellin XM1+
3. Rims changed to Plati 5 spoke
4. Lights upgraded to Philips Rally
5. Underbody coating done from the dealer as a compliment
6. Front windscreen installed with Garware ICECOOL shield
7. ICEd with Blaupunkt 4 channel amp, Rockford Fosgate woofer and Hertz compos
8. Seats done with Gsport Europa
9. Left front door completely replaced
10. Minor scratch on the left back wheel body arch from the hydro-lifted parking of Mantri Mall.

Out of the total 5000+ ODO, almost 2500 kms is purely National Highways and the rest within Bangalore city. So its like a 50/50 city and highway. Best mileage I could calculate so far is 14 kmpl and worst could be 12 kmpl within the city. On a total average, 90% of the drives were with the AC ON. Mileage checks were always full tank to full tank basis.

So far so good, my experience with the service, overall drive comfort, features, performance etc. are upto the expectation. No complaints. Hope to be that way for the coming months.

Thanks Yajaman, wish you too a pleasant long ownership experience. Mantri mall parking is the tightest parking I have ever seen till date. Valet service is there, those are experienced drivers on duty, so nothing to worry about. I acted over-possessive about my fiesta and got rewarded with a scratch.

Go Fida !!

LOL, i had to remove the antenna from the car before parking it into one of those hydro-lifted parking slots, very cramped! Not gone back there since.

Shaj, congrats well in advance for completing an year of owning the beauty!! Your car is truly an inspiration to many other fiestas here on the forum today!!
