My first exotic SUV. The Audi Q7

i know im late to write a review of the car i love the most.i never bothered to look at the indian cars thread except for the super cars and imports in India.

we ordered the car in august 08 and received it in october.it takes around 6 months for the car to get it delivered.a customer ordered it and cancelled it after 3 months.

i love this car a lot as this is the only biggest gift i've ever received .
and this is my personal car. my father rarely uses it. very tough to drive such a big car on the hyderabad roads but still i use this car.

when my father said " i am buying a new car for you " on july 14th ( how can i forget this day ? ) i was so excited. never slept for several nights till he said " its a Q7 " which made me even more happier.we have much expensive cars like 7 series and s 350 in our company ,Q7 was my dream car.always wanted to own this car. i love the Q7 more than the 30 odd cars(including 10 exotics) we have at our resort.

ok.it costed about 79 lakhs as we took many optional items (almost everything except the gorgeous rims ) .its a cobalt blue coloured beast.except Q7,OHC and accord all our cars are black but i liked blue for this car.

a panoramic sunroof
BOSE audio system
mmi advanced,reverse camera,no smoking package,alcantra leather,S LINE package,adaptive headlight system,lighting package

there are many more i dont remember.will edit this post after i see all the extras.

except the wrong mileage display ( now corrected) i didnt have any problems with the car so far. and here are the pictures.

So this includes repairing and painting the door too.. Well then i guess its pretty much possible.

If you can contacts abroad, why don't you just ask them to get an RVM?? It should definitely work out much cheaper.

Anyways, a few HQ pics of the car will be appreciated.

Nice Q7 there Shreyas. Loved the colour but the alloys looks too plain. Any upgrade in mind?

Congrats on the Audi (don't care Q7, A6, A4...just Audi)!!

That's one thing I have to get myself out of at least temporarily (but do not care actually even if I don't). After being in US for so long, I have built a mind that thinks in dollars and then compares. 80L INR == 160K USD. Nah, won't spend on a Q7 in Hyderabad. Rather will drive a Ferrari in the US, with my wife. Can not imagine spending $160K on something that I can get for $50K (sorry, just my opinion and probably because I live in the US).

Any chance of it seeing the off-road? You have to put Auid’s AWD system to the test sometime!
