My quest for Vintage and classic car goes on.I seem to have now developed a taste for like cars in my stable.hence I spotted a 1983 Toyota Corona Sedan in a mint condition and it was offered to me at a miraculous unbelievable price after some easy negotiations.
The hallmark of this car:
- 1.6 Litre Rear wheel drive Petrol Engine in mint condition.
- 60000 kms on the Sppedometre
- Factory Fitted Front and Rear A/c in mint condition
- Original Japanese upholstry in Leather and Vinyl Mix
- Company fitted Clarion cassette player and Radio in working condition + Jayco Analog clock in the Speedo dash
- Dashboard all orginal Beige finish in mint condition
- No Power steering but its ultra smooth
- Rims are that of Esteem (onlydefect)
- Under the hood-even the radiator cap is original company fitted.

The car is coming to me at 45K.

Im all set to take delivery in next few days.

Looks like its been taken good care of. For a 26 year old car, she's surely looking good!

Gosh, this car looks to be amazingly well kept. You got a thing for old Toyotas, don't you Hillram (For example). I remember being dropped off to school in the same car, only difference that was maroon and retrofitted with a really quick diesel. Great D-I-Y car.

We are always talking about how ol' Mercs (W126' & W124') go on forever. The Toyotas of yore do so just as well.

I have seen a similar looking car outside Garden Towers Masab Tank with the second hand dealer there.
Is it the same one?

You get the best deals

hillram sir, the prices for old cars are all relative, if your car is in full proper and near original shape (which is very apparent from the pictures) and not requiring any work in the near future, then the 45k is totally worth for the car.
