My New Ride....Swift VDI(Pearl White)

Hi All

Yesterday my search for new ride finallly came to end after taking delivery of my new Swift VDI.

It all started around month of Feb when i decided to finally say bbye to my Santro 2005.Then there was a sudden plan to go out of country for few days due to work.Came back and again started looking for new ride.
Had several Test Drives(VernaCRDI,Safari 2.2,Swift D)
Also Pmsgd hellstar,jk,Gill,sajands,rippergo,abhibh for their feedback.
Thanks to all for their valuable inputs.

I almost decided on Verna SX and then moved back to Swift considering
the loan amount i have to take i.e 2.5lacs for Swift D as i didnt wanted to take money from DAD.This being my first car after getting into JOB.

Now the money saved will be spent on Wheels and ICING

Will post pics once i get back home

Maverick

hey maverick,

congrats dude... as much as i'm not a white man - your car really does look nice in white!
h
ow long did you need to wait for the vdi? we're in the process of disposing off the palio and either replacing it with a swift d or waiting till the punto launches and staying with the tata - fiat family.

drive safe and drive sane...

i had to wait for 15days for white color(although Waiting period is still 3-4 mtnhs but found some contact in Maruti Udyog,so got car delivered at priority) ,Silver was having less waiting period.
The dealer said white is much in demand these days.i wanted to have ABS version but waiting was around 45days

@CorsaLove

@Rippergo,@s0uljah,@VJ_MAVRICK,@aaggoswami

@sajands,@bIte tHe bulLet
Waiting was around 3-4 months but got delivery on priority due to some contact in MARUTI
ICE Setup on my snow white will be a lil later,as i have to figure out a good installer in my city which is a tough task

Can anyone throw some light on this.

When i was taking the delivery the sales executive said please allow the engine to settle down for first 2K mark by not driving above 60,if you want to achieve good FE throughout.And also use only normal diesel .Is it true???
