Here we go another Fiat Bashing. I guess its too harsh. No ways can Logan be compared to Palio, Punto, Bravo. Fiat Build Quality is light years ahead of Logan ! Punto is not yet launched so we cant comment. Bravo is in a diff segment. @anarchist : If you dont like Fiat Cars please do not compare them!

Always found it to be quite ok looking in the pics and loved the back but always thought how it would look as a whole.

Saw a white test drive car on the road yesterday and i think it looks pretty dam good. Only reason being, the front and back gel pretty well and doesnt look awkward like i thought it would.

I don't know about others, but for me, where Logan fails is in its interiors, more than anything else.

I can put up with its boxy looks (infact lookwise, I find Logan much better than Dzire), but the inside of it is so crappy, that I find my six year old Indica a stunner!

Change Logan's interiors, pack it with more or less same features as Maruti and I will ANYDAY choose it over Dzire

@CaAt - I agree, i like the Logan but it's biggest shortfall as you rightly pointed out are it's interiors. Furthermore as already stated, not just the design, but even in ergonomics, the interior is a disaster.

If they improve interiors and put the features of dzire in Logan, im sure it will easily keep up with dzire sales. Dzire will still sell due to Maruti image in consumers mind.

Finney, you could've probably started another thread/poll for this.

I am no Logan fan but from the images it is clearly far better (in exterior looks department) than the DZire. The dZire is like a lovely lady with a SUMO wrestler's fat a** .

BTW, the Logan is sold pretty much as it is around Europe, but I would doubt if Suzuki would ever dare to sell the DZire in Europe

From the pictures you posted, the Logan does look better than the Dzire. Have to admit it.

But then it could be about the pictures you chose for each, the color of the cars, the photo angle, difference between picture and reality, etc etc.
Eg. my colleague has a Logan in the same color as the pic. I never felt it to be even a decent looking car. But in your pic, the same car actually looks good.

If it was just the exteriors (excluding the rear) yeah I would say that Logan is better than Dzire.
But there are many other aspects to a car other than just that.

Guys...a LOGAN is a LOGAN. Its a BIG box and I do like the exteriors (certainly the front) which somehow looks like ...well how do I put it..if Esteem didnt have any curves.
FinneyP lets see the back and the interiors of these two cars. Let me know if you want me to post the pics. Nobody would buy the car JUST for its front or its back or the interiors. BUT I would certainly not buy the LOGAN for what it offers in its current avatar!

PS: No sentiments to be hurt. This is my HUMBLE opinion!

I just saw Dzire in flesh and must admit it did look good. The only turn off in the design dept. being that from side angle the boot is above the tail lamp.
I had sat in a Zxi and the VDI. The fabric in VDI was a let down. Not upto the mark. Rear seat kinda comfy. But legroom for a sedan was not upto the mark.
I guess people who were against the looks might change their opinion after seeing it in flesh!
