I've gone through the whole thread, but didn't find an answer to the issue. What do you think was the reason, where did that 3lts of extra fuel go?
In my case it's more than 8lts I feel.
I understand that the actual capacity is 10 more. there is a button near the mouth that is meant for air release that when pressed allows extra fuel inside. I had a similar experience once. Run the car till reserve and you will get the extra miles. Cheers

What is the reason that Skoda is still selling Fabia 1.6 when the parent company has already got rid of the same product from their portfolio? I don't think Fabia 1.6 is flying off the shelves anywhere.
Here's a more recent article in case it helps , i think older stock is being sold off however Skoda does have it on their website - maybe they will take it down once all the stocks are over.
Glad i picked mine up when i did!
Also funny yet is that why the updates on the car earlier this year - the 15 inch tyres etc if they were looking at discontinuing it so soon.
If this does happen , there will actually only be a handful of the updated 1.6 in the market , a bit of a rare breed! :)

Acoording to feelers Skoda fabia will be discontinued owning to poor sales and lesser profits. Already they have plan for 4 pot motor, now we need to see if they use the same underpinnings or not. And then what will happen of polo.
Sorry, forgot to add, they will have new car in place of fabia.
Sad to hear that , its quite a shame , its a gem of a car and i know people will realize that once they own one , unfortunately thats not the way it works , perception influences decision and i for one will be quite disappointed to see it go.
Hope this is not going to now result in major spare shortages

Sorry for the delay - Pls find attached the pics.
One pic will show you that the tank has about 10 Litres.
The other pic will show small nub inside which can be pushed by the fuel nozzle.
Also the reading on the fuel pump guage will show 42 Litres. I suspect had 52 - 55 litres in the tank. After that I got about 650 Kms till reserve.
Cheers
I just took my fabia for its second free (paid ) 30 K Km service. A couple of hours later I get a call saying my disc brakes and brake pads need to be changed. I can understand brake pads. But I thought disc brakes had a longer life. The service coordinator tells me that I might have to shell out about 9000 bucks for the same
Anybody with any experience on that.

I know a lot of people who have got it replaced at around 30k. Mine is at 58k and unchanged. I don't know why they are insisting on replacing the disc, I smell something fishy.

Fishy for sure. Since you are located in Chennai, you have to rely on Gurudev alone right? Or is there an alternative service center you can take an opinion from?
My advice: If you haven't felt anything really wrong, ask them to pass on it for now, take an alternate opinion and then take the plunge. Maybe when you say that you want to take an alternate opinion, the tone may change.
