Re: My Chevrolet Corvette C8 Review | A dream of a 90s kid is fulfilled Hi, there! Hope this finds you happy! I I'm planning to travel to Sault Ste. Marie (in Canada) due to my pursuit in education after high school (to study Bachelor's in Computer Science with specializilations in AI and machine learning). I know this is way, way too early for me to do this, but I've been researching the internet for cars suitable for me in Canada. I always loved and adored the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, especially the S197 chassis as I grew up racing this car on video games, especially NFS and Real Racing 3. I looked at this particular website, called CarGurus.ca, and guess what, I found not one, but two used GT500s that melted my heart upon seeing them, and there are dozens more.
One model in question is the 2014 Ford Shelby GT500, finished in a glossy purple complete with white racing stripes. This one is just, beautiful, but at a staggering amount of 88K CAD!! The other model is one of the earlier ones, a 2007 SVT Shelby GT500, and the exterior is similar, except more classy-looking and bluish. This one is listed at 49K CAD. Now, considering the situation in Canada right now, I kind of abandoned the dream , but I got to say, your article definitely raised my hopes. Thank you, dear sir, for posting your childhood desires and how you fulfilled said desires by not giving up .
As of right now, I've considered a completely different breed - a 2017 Maserati Ghibli SQ4 AWD - as it's more affordable (at 27K CAD) and of course, it's a Maserati . Sorry if this is too long, but I would appreciate your feedback. |
