That's surprising. I thought since the grid/guidelines are present, it would be dynamic in the V.

I don't think the weight of the car has much to do with the steering. With a fully loaded car, the ride definitely improves but at high speeds, the steering still feels quite light.

Reverse Camera for Glanza G Variant

Hi all, I have booked a Glanza 'G' variant from Uttam Toyota, Delhi for my wife. This model does not have a reverse camera. Uttam Toyota is quoting 7.5K for installing this. Any suggestions or lookout points for this. Will it be cheaper or better if done from outside?

Re: Reverse Camera for Glanza G Variant

Seems a little overpriced. I was charged less than 4k. You can check with another Toyota dealer in your city as well. If that doesn't work, you can mention that your friends got it fitted from a Toyota dealership for much lesser.

It should definitely be cheaper outside. But I myself would not risk that, since I'm worried about warranty and wires getting cut.

@gopaneel, it's been a long time since you updated this thread. How is the car doing ?

One question:
what was the OTR price you paid before discounts ?

Sis is looking for one, and couple of CVT's have been checked out at Cars24. But i feel the quoted price is high.

Hi,

I've had to leave India for work and I've not gotten back yet. The car is at my parents' place. It's doing fine except that it's not being used much. Hence the missing updates.

Mine is the manual G variant, not a CVT. I think price before discount was 8.52L at the time I got it. I'm guessing it's gone up a fair amount since then.

Hope that helps.

I signed on to this Open AI.
And asked ChatGPT Ai to make a poem on the Toyota Glanza.
Look at the result! It is only a computer that did it but for an inanimate machine it is amazing.

(Except for the use of ‘without a trace’ which is not quite fitting in.)
