the internal sensor, quality of the plastic looks good.

this is how the final output looks. It's not an absolute 100% snug fit, and so need to figure out a 'beading' to stop the slight rattle that comes.
also need to tinker to figure out how to switch from BAR to PSI unit...the manual above doesn't help, as it's a pathetic job done for an instruction manual. (probably via google translate)

Re: Heart over head! My pre-owned Honda CR-V 2.4L AWD

Hello, I just wanted to thank everyone on this thread, especially @pineapple_ameet. I received a fairly good offer on a 2015 Honda CR-V 2.4 AWD at under 40k. This thread and pineapple_ameet's posts helped me make my decision.

I am wondering if any CR-V owners here have add any luck with updating the head unit. I tried installing an update for carplay that I found on YouTube via USB but was unsuccessful.

Thanks again, everyone.

Honda was clearly very biased on India audiences till 2017 atleast. I don't think any CR-V or civic came with Honda link pre installed on AVN on India spec models.

Congrats on the car though and wish you endless happy miles!! How much did you pay for the car?

Hi mate, I'm considering a similar vintage 2.4 AT in Bangalore. Requesting your help on few questions,
- Are there any major hiccups you have faced till now?
- AWD, is it full time ON?
- How's the real world fuel efficiency? I'm not too worried about this, however good to know what I'm jumping onto.

I too had a Civic back in 2013 and more memories than any other car I have owned (in a good way)

Hi noufal.ps!
- No major (or minor) hiccups till now.
- Yes AWD, is full-time ON?
- How's the real-world fuel efficiency? ~7 in Mumbai, ~10.5 on Highway.

Thanks Ameet. We did speak on the phone too.

Recently got a pre-worshipped (really pre-worshipped that way) CRV 2.4 AWD AT. Loving it every minute and especially the sports mode with 3k+ revvs

Re: Heart over head! My pre-owned Honda CR-V 2.4L AWD

looks like an amazing VFM for a tourer, especially when fitted with a CNG kit. You can always do the boring plains on and normal tarmac on gas to cut down the running cost, while use petrol when you need the power, in AWD for instance.

I am wondering what is the way to handle the low Ground Clearance problem on this one 170 MM is more like a sedan. Does a tyre upgrade help? Any other ways to do the same without messing up with the stock setup much?

A little correction here, Honda CRV has a On Demand AWD system.
By default it is FWD and the moment front wheels start to lose traction, rear wheels kick in, the transition is so smooth that it goes un noticed most of the times. There is no button either to enable/disable it.

Re: Heart over head! My pre-owned Honda CR-V 2.4L AWD

I'm clear on this. I could feel the AWD engaging in few rainy situations.

However, fuel efficiency isn't bad. Managed 9 in city with bangalore traffic and 10 on highway with some sports mode

I've been in some super tricky rainy situations in Mumbai in this car myself this year (where if I've had my earlier civic, would have surely stalled it luxuriously), but still could never make out any difference IF the AWD got into action... Maybe cus I was of this notion this far that it's all time AWD.
This link shares more dope on the same.

Congratulations Ameet on getting a wonderful car home. It felt so nice to see the Civic again after so many years, I hope it served you well. Till this day I repent selling it.

Wish the CR-V serves you well for years to come.

Cheers

Hey Hiren!
Loved every bit with civic, and indeed it served me well. I miss it dearly too.
Thanks for the kind words!
