If you do, it's a decision you won't regret. As a former Honda owner (City 1.5 EXi Type II) I find Honda India extremely fickle as an organisation with service backup that leaves much to be desired.

Toyota is old-fashioned but heck they have your back every time you need them. 12 years with 2 T badge cars have confirmed it without a doubt.

Leaving looks aside I'll prefer Toyota to Honda anytime whether its an Accord or Camry, Acura or Lexus.

@ DragonDev

Congrats on your SCross.

Except for some tightening and inspections, nothing much was done in second service. I asked for an oil change for my satisfaction. Nothing to change any performance aspect. Its the same.

SCross suddenly seems a lot handsome

If they launch it, will it be pitted against their Innova or lower?

Lower?! No way. This is their premium minivan, probably would cost as much as or more than Fortuner.

Then no issues, since it is expensive no one will dare ridicule the styling, going by another example. Case in point - PRADO

Its works like this, a mafia boss can show his gold teeth and no one will ridicule him. But if I smile with a gold tooth i will be the clown in my circle. Similarly if I wear a thick gold chains and 10 golden looking rings I will be made fun of, but if a rapper does it then thats how he rolls.

re: S-Cross'd : My 2017 Maruti S-Cross 1.3L Facelift. EDIT: Sold!

Seat Squeaking update.

One week since the cause was identified. No squeaking at about 85% of the seat height. Keeping it there now.

Car is silent, and now I am happy to get the feeling of a rattle free new car .

Wish it was that way direct out of the assembly lane on delivery. Any way for now, from the looks of it, such an experience from Maruti will remain as a dream .

From the discussions below, I am convinced its not their approach to mass market needs.

Why not grind that portion (the top metal piece) just enough to make a nice small arch shaped void and this issue will be solved forever and at all heights. A dremel with carbide bit will work.

The moment I get some free time this DIY is on the cards. But all weekends seems to go with my fruit trees, wine making and baking

OMG! What the heck is Toyota thinking?! An automobile with a Godzilla smile?
That redefines the term 'brutally ugly front' and is enough to scare the wits out of a kid

S Cross face-lift grill design draws inspiration for some manufacturers too. Mahindra's flagship SUV
