+1.
People need to check out the car in person and test drive it extensively at least once, to see what all the Creta offers at it's price points. The petrol SX+ and the diesel SX are the best choices in the Creta range, IMO.

A trip to Kerala is on the cards! But it doesn't seem like this year. Most probably 2016.

I have been driving in B2B traffic as well. Overall mileage isn't that bad for a car of this size and weight, methinks. A minimum of 10 kmpl is a given.

Please do extensive test drives of both fuel types, before choosing one.
If mileage is paramount, the diesel SX makes a strong case for itself, otherwise go for the SX+ petrol.

Thanks, Viddy.
Yes, I should have kept my 2012 City (Silver Pegasus). Still a tinge of regret of selling her off, specially after what Honda brought out in, and single-handedly experiencing, the 2014 City. A disappointment in terms of overall quality and a big step down.

Had a bit of free time yesterday afternoon so hit the accessory shops for some suitable stuff for my Lazarus.
Bought a few, ordered a few, and got one fitted as well. Ordered stuff should be here by the weekend.
You will be amazed with the amount of good stuff
accessory shops have got hidden inside their dungeons!
Cost me 1100 bucks with stitching charges.
The whole package - leather cover,
pouch for string & needle, and a leather sample.
End product.
Close shot.
3 full hours of painstaking patience!
Universal rubber mats for now (rains).
Hammer's touchscreen Guard.
Slightly smaller in size but covers 99% of the glass area so no complaints.
Tyvek-based matty grey car cover.
Thanks to the competition!
Also picked up one of these, just in case.
Rear all clean now. Dealer sticker removed.
Absolutely no scratches on body paint.
The magic of Waxpol detailing.
Same stuff for the additional sticker above the "SX".
Also, dropped an email to
Car Mats India (makers of Star 3D mats, thanks to wonderful BHPians
a4anurag &
paragsachania) for cabin & trunk mats for my Lazarus. Expecting to hear back from them in the next few days.
