Great choice! clap: I love those seats.
Would change only 2 things. The HU and the tyres. Have fun!
Great Car and review, first on TBHP. If ever they launch such beautiful cars in India, I do not know. I found the pioneer HUD in the pics really odd but on later reading your plight it is sad. The original is so much better.
Happy motoring
Fantastic looks and a great car !
And for the code why not write to FIAT Italy, Iam sure you would get some response since 500 was a very hyped launch and ownership is supposed to give you exclusivity.
By the way is not illegal to paste stickers on the number plate? Cops may notice given the kind of attention this car draws from everyone.
Congrats on your purchase
Its a great litte car! I had the fiat 500 Petrol Sport model which I sold off last month.
As for the code, there is a Blue& Me document that comes with the manual and that usually has the code. You can email fiat with the chasis number of your vehicle and they should be able to provide it.
Take it to some local ICE shops to see if they can break the code
or contact FIAT UK and give them the serial # of the HU
Thanks for the input guys. Mailed the serial number and model number of the system to my friend in UK and asked him to try and get the 4 digit code. Fingers crossed now :)
You're gonna have to show some proof that you own the car otherwise how do they know you are not the burglar who stole it?
Thats a sweet cutie-pie!! And obviously, as others have told, the pioneer HU sticks out as a sore thumb. All the very best to get back to the original HU.
Sometime last year (what a vague timelinestupid:), I saw a white Fiat500 in T.Nagar near Pothys (beneath the flyover) and was drooling over it.
Good news guys, just got the 4-digit code from my friend. All I had to do is simply send the model and serial number of the HU. All it cost was £5. If only I had known this sooner :/
Had the original HU reinstalled to the car and now I wait for it to ask the code and I can finally go back to using the proper music system for the car.
That's a cute little car you've got. Must be good enough to serve as a hot hatch in city. Good to know that the HU problems are sorted out.
Congratulations!!
This is one of best designed cars from FIAT. :)
I have rented Fiat 500 Sports quite a few times here in Canada and have also once taken it to US on a 4000 KMs trip few weeks ago; though it struggled to keep pace with other vehicles against the wind at 120+kmph speeds, it was fun to drive.
Crossed the 20,000km mark recently.
Everything was going well until an Innova nudged my left fender in the signal and sped away. :Frustrati
Sent to Chennai's best service shop for imports. Hope they can fix the dent on the car and bring it back to it's original state.
Long time since I updated this thread. :P
Car's not been used much in the past few months due to an A/C issue. Turns out living near the sea side can cause your A/C compressor to disintegrate. Took more than 2 months to get it fixed and cost a lot of dough too.
But, I guess alls well that ends well. Car is back to it's best now. :)
Forgot to upload pics of the interiors after having the original HU fixed. This is how it looks now:-
The car keys:-

^^ Can you please explain what exactly happened with the AC. Was the compressor replaced or repaired? How much did it cost? Were the works done by FASS or through an independent garaga?
Great thread.
I think this is the only Fiat 500 on TBHP in the recent years, isn't it?
