Amaze being setup at showrooms for a simultaneous unveil asking with media launch tomorrow at 1 30 PM. Got an invite to dealer launch today. A Honda salesgirl has divulged vital information (got recent info from the company I guess as part of info sharing & launch readiness):

All 4 power windows, central locking, EPS + tilt steering standard equipment across all Amaze variants / fuel types.
ABS/EBD standard across all Diesel variants.
(AT only in petrol)

Sounds yummy... I can't hide my excitement at all! ! ! Price it at par with DZire, oh pl Honda! And price the AT to be the cheapest AT sedan in India!

re: Review: 1st-gen Honda Amaze (2013)

Eagerly waiting for the launch. Hope it will be priced at par with the Dzire. I really want Amaze to be a huge success, as I am an avid Honda fan.

A fantastic review and the car certainly seems to be a promising one for the market.
Honda have updated the website with an option to view the live launch video of the vehicle! Quite interesting..

Great initiative, unlike Maruti where the Lxi/LDi is a barebone version with just the power steering only! If they price the base model at par or slightly higher than Dzire LXI/LDI with all those features of VXi/VDI , Maruti will be in serious trouble. That will be a good price to pay for taking the customers for a ride for a pretty long time.

p.s. After watching video reviews the car actually looks quite good, better than in pictures and well proportioned compared to Dzire!

Japanese speakers Limelight hoggers

They should have let someone with clean English accent speak.

In the Honda Amaze launch, the PPT for service cost was not shown as the camera was focused on Sen, the marketing guy Was anybody able to see the same?

re: Review: 1st-gen Honda Amaze (2013)

Too many glitches in the live web cast (hope they have sorted out of these in the actual car). What impressed me the most the very flat torque curve with a very wide rpm band. The 200 Nm peak toque, occurs ay 1750 rpm (I guess 90% of that occurs at roughly about 1500 rpm) & this torque stays well till 3500 rpm (if I looked at the graph correctly)

"Badle Aapki Duniya" is the punchline (Marketing strategy)

I think the "Heat absorbing windshield" is a segment first

Model - Price (INR) lacs

S(AT) - 6.62
