Dear Achyut , Congrats on your Sunny, i do own 1 and mine has clocked 25000 kms in 1.5 years and has been plagued by numerous issues , right from the time of delivery to till date , they have still not identified the braking issue as brakes continue to make a squeeking noise everytime you press the paddle.
Hope your car gives you years of problem free owning experience

Thanks behaln. The car has been trouble free right now. I feel very sad hearing your ordeal. I think it's high time for Nissan to rectify the dealer issues. Have you given your car for the brake master cylinder replacement?

P.S: How has been your dealer experiences?

Cheers,

Achyuth

Re: My Nissan Sunny XL DCi - The Caaaar

Dear Achyuth , well dealer experience has been far from satisfactory , right from the time of booking till date i have been having issues with them , you wont believe I had to visit their head office in Bombay to get the issues sorted out , as delhi guys and the regional head was just delaying the whole process , finally I had to meet their sales director , on whose direct orders they started working .
They have still not called my car for the brake issues , which are still pending ???
hope you do have a problem free experience , will share all the details in a long term review. Cheers

Re: My Nissan Sunny XL DCi - The Caaaar

Well, mine has been excellent. I feel very sad for you behaln, I think it must be sorted out at the earliest. Or they might eventually get a similar name as Skoda. I think if you can report this to Nissan, they can do smething about this thing. Nissan's good products are getting ruined by the bad ASS, at least in few cities. Now, when did you buy your car?

Drive safe,

Cheers,

Achyuth

Re: My Nissan Sunny XL DCi - The Caaaar

Update: Got a call from the dealer about the brake cylinder replacement. Placed an appointment with the dealer about this thing. Will get you guys updated about this thing. It's question time: How is the effect after replacement? ( Q for only existing Sunny and Micra owners who's vehicles are a part of the replacement batch )

Thanks and Cheers,

Achyuth

Mine has got it replaced. It's braking absolutely great now, no more pathetic brake pedal travel range. It's fine now. Along with that they said me that the master cylinder would start to wear out after 30000 kms ( on the replacement batch ) so this recall was initiated.

Cheers,

Achyuth

Re: My Nissan Sunny XL DCi - The Caaaar

Updates: Bad news first, Good news next:

A biker in a Discover crashed the rear bumper of the caar which crumbled and broke own. The RHS tail lamp also crumbled.

Then the ASS saga stated. They made a delay of nearly a month for sourcing the rear tail lamp and bumper spares. They also stole a car charger from the caaar and when we asked them about that, they were acting like being clueless. Happily they finished the job correctly.

Good news: The car has crossed the 17000 km mark and is going strong. Mileage is also stand at 22 kmpl. I have installed and Exhaust finisher for the car as the area which surrounded the exhaust pipe was filled with black dirt so I thought this would improve the aesthetics of the car and will also help in keeping the car clean. Pics coming soon

Thanks,

Achyuth
