Re: Skoda Laura VRS - Officially Unofficial Review and Initial Ownership Report

How do you adjust ride height?
Can I use B14's to lower the car for general highway drive and raise it when I approach a bump?

Short answer. No. Ride height needs to be adjusted in a garage with wheels off.

Re: Skoda Laura VRS - Officially Unofficial Review and Initial Ownership Report

Prithwi, so what height are you setted now ?? The B14's can be adjusted 50mm lower, and trust me, mine is running 35mm lowered with no issues whatsoever over speed bumps , at least here in Goa !!
Lucky you could exploit all the potential of your B14 outfitted vRs at the Buddh trackday.
That's just ''wishfull thinking'' for me in Goa.

Hmmm...
So "adjustbale ride height" feature is more academic than practical...of course good to have.

My current ride height settings. This should give you a nice idea of where I am at in settings and drop.

Remap is being worked on by cc and petes. Gave them a separate set of parameters than their usual remap.

Brilliant stuff man prithwi, the rims look great. They're not too flashy, just perfect for the car. Tarox brake upgrade in the pipeline too?

Check out this grille, I think it will look good on your car -

Beautiful rims and the painted bumper spoiler. But I still prefer the tried and tested front end modification by Pete's. Looks even better in a black car.

See metal deposits on pad due to pad overheat. Now running strada pads. Will most likely do a disc upgrade by end dec.

As for the front lip, it would be too risky to do due to already lowered stance, and would look silly without side skirts.
