Technical Query on Fiesta 1.4TDCi

Guys,

Does anybody have the torque curve for the 1.4 TDCi engine strapped in the Ford Fiesta?

Also want to know the gear ratios for the diesel version of Fiesta - 1st to 5th & the final reduction.

Tried looking into the brochure & forums on the web but couldn't get this info.

Anyone having this info, pls send them across.

Cheers,

Saw this. But it took me a while to dig up the mag from my unorganised pile of automobile magazines.

Gear Ratios: Ratio/kph per 1000RPM

1. 3.58 / 7.79
2. 1.93 / 14.45
3. 1.28 / 21.79
4. 0.95 / 29.36
5. 0.76 / 36.70

Final Drive Ratio : 3.82

I could not find any information regarding the torque curve.

The data above sourced from 'AUTOCAR' issue of January 2006.

Hope this helps.

Wow! You went back in time by 3.5 yrs to dig this info. Thanks a lot mate

In the meanwhile i just managed to get the torque curve, from the Pete's site, where they compared the stock engine with the pete'd engine.

I am attching the torque curve here for anyone else that might be looking for it.

BTW, why am i loking for this info! I am trying to calculate the theoretical at-wheel torque available at various rpm and the speed based on these numbers. Will post them once i calculate these figures.

It took time only as it was not organised properly. I am doing that slowly.
