New Honda accord power steering pump problem

Hi Guys!!!

I baught the new honda accord 2008 model couple of months back.
since last few days have been noticing a humming noise from the power stering pump, went to get it checked today at the service station. After checking and rechecking it , i was told it needs to be changed but since the model is new so the part wasnt available.
I need some help.
want to find out if anybody else with a new acccord is also facing the same problem.
This has really shaken my confidence in Honda and would request you guys to share the relevant email ids of honda management as i would like to mail my concerns to them.
Its a brand new car and after the replacement also ,i would not have the full confidence to drive it in future.. (i was planning to keep the car for minimum 5-6 years)
I am scared and feeling kinda confused wheather this car is worth my hard earned money(wooping 18.5 lacs)...

Please help.

Admittedly, I am surprised at such a part failure in a brand new Accord. Guess even the best of 'em have their teething issues (previous gen when launched had fuel pump issues).

Good luck with the replacement. I'm sure your Accord will perform flawlessly and this is just a one-off.

I guess it can be changed under warranty easily
