whats Supercharged and Turbocharged??

could someone tell me the diff.. btw supercharge and turbo charge...which one gives a more increse in power??

Both cases refer to forced induction by ramming in the fuel-air mixture. In the case of a turbocharger this is achieved by a turbine that runs off the exhaust gases (hence the 'turbo lag' - the engine has to be churning out a decent speed to generate the exhaust pressure required to run a turbo).

In the case of the supercharger, the same is achieved by a turbine running off the engine's drive - off the driveshaft.

In both cases, the turbine creates more pressure to drive in the air fuel mixture.

As you can see, I'm a bad trainer....
