Best Oil Flush - Best Procedure?

Hey people ,
Okay so in my last two oil changes after running my OWS 210 Engine flush , then draining the all the oil out and I mean not every last drop of oil will drop out , then [due to a mechanics insistence ] I have sent compressed air VIA a tube { ie like a tire air filling thing } thru my main oil filling cap and then through the oil dipstick port .
Much to horror MORE {200 ish ml} of sludgy oil DID come out !!!

On the OWS 210 bottle it says "" add to engine BLAHBLAHBLAH then drain oil FLUSH CONTAMINATION and change oil & filter ""

flush contamination??

Does anyone in MUMBAI or even india actually have an engine flush machine like
Engine Flush
MotorVac
MotorVac
Motorvac OilClean MOF 1000 A Fast and Efficient Oil Flush Machine

I have a swift we all have "wet sumps" dont we ?
I cant stand the thought of contaminated oil : contaminated with the old oil + remaining sludge + Oil Flush agents !!

Can i have them remove my sump and turn it over to drain and clean it or something? Will that expose parts of my engine which shouldn't be exposed?
please help me people !
My oil filter is coming by Wednesday the 20th servicing right after i get it .

PS : My car is new 20 000 ish KM and i have always flushed and decarb ed blah blah so flushing is not an issue in my case [ new car ]

please help me people !
cheers

good documents. thanks for sharing mate.

i am shocked when you mentioned that the mechanic asked you to pass compressed air and this forced ~200ml of sludge out. I wonder if the regular A.S.S ever does that during the service?

oh **** !!
i knew this method of flushing the engine with compressed air so that all the sludge comes out. but i missed out to tell the person doing flush out to do this. now i dont know how much sludge + fresh oil + bardahl additive is in my car.
will it have ill-effect?

yep yep this is true.
had gone to sah and sanghi and told them to do the same at the last service.
Even i saw like 200-300ml of Black dirty oil that came out after they sent pressurized air into my dip stick hole and the tappet cover hole for oil.

Due to the nature of the design of our wet sumps some oil always gets left over in the sump which will never come out even after the compressed air blow.

Would love to know myself if taking out the sump and emptying it is a good practice to follow.

@amit_mech .. bro this residue is present in almost all cars with wet sumps bro so yes your car will run fine. Maybe not at 100 % peak but almost there.
The difference is negligible but me being exactly as picky as cyneverdie , i would love to have every last molecule of dirty old out of my engine before i fill new oil.
hope this helps .

P.S. Anyone know of a proper machine to do this ???

removing the slump, well, wouldn't this expose the engine?

guess you can do this, but u shoudl be careful that you are in a well covered area; wouldnt want any dirt getting into the engine when the slump is down!

Oil drain plug is at the lowest part of the Oil sump. If the oil doesn't get drained when the plug is removed then the oil is getting trapped elsewhere. IMO even removing sump would not help remove all the oil residue from the previous fill.

Is there any downside to pushing pressurised air into the engine?

I am familiar with the advantages / disadvantages of engine flushing. I meant, any downside to the pressurised flow of air?

Can someone please clarify my doubt:
The engine volume is fixed.
You can fill x amount of oil in it.
If you drain the old oil and some (almost 200 ml as per post #1) of it remains inside.
How will you fill x amount of new oil.

Will your dip stick reading not show the excess oil level?

The best method to get almost all of the old oil from your engine is to do an overnight drain, best to do it yourself, please ensure that the drain plug is kept in a safe place and that the battery is disconnected to prevent the possibility of someone starting the engine with no oil in it.

Maybe on the various oil seals?
