Finding the VIN & manufacturing date/year on Indian cars

Hi Wildon,
A friend of mine has booked a white i20 Magna at Blue Hyundai, Bangalore. The VIN number is MALBB51BLAM217575. Can you please help decoding it?

I have booked a VW sometime back. Now the dealer have called me and told the car is ready. He has sent me the VIN no - WVW10609BT008480. Can you please send me the full specification pdf or let me know how I can generate it?

^^ The 4th Alphabet which is representing month is missing from the VIN.
at present its having only 16 characters . Please provide the full 17 character VIN.

The VIN no is WVWJ10609BT008480.

I missed out "J" in the number.

As per dealer record the vehicle was mfg. on 07.10.2010
and received at dealer on 16.10.2010. Color is exactly as mentioned by you.
