Thanks. Does that mean, they actually start manufacturing the car yesterday or they might have done but assigning the VIN yesterday to the vehicle.

Delaer is expecting the car to be delivered by Hyundai on Monday night? Can they really create an i20 in 4-5 days ? If it is true, then why the heck the ask to wait 20-25 days, due to plant capacity constraints ??

BTw, how did you find the Color and manufactured date?

^^^ From May 1st onwards i20 production has started in their Turkish Plant for meeting the European demands, Indian customer doesn't need to wait any more.

I don't know about the delivery schedule from company to the dealer. Please do check with your dealer.

Regarding the other details you have asked, sorry i can't reveal the sources for good reasons.

You can get this info from any manufacturer without any insider or unauthorised usage of Hyundai's sites. Its one of this. Thats probably the reason why one does not want to disclose this.

I think, its better our members do not get into such activities and get caught.

^^ long time no see bimi. I know you are closely watching this thread.

@carbhp :- now you know what was that good reasons.

Regarding your quote "you can get this info from any manufacturer" .Does Hyundai provide this details to the customers ?!

In my case its not happened even though i asked to the Hyundai Service (Chennai) person, your Customer Care and to your dealer. Also Lets ask the BHPans here that how many of them got this info from the manufacturer/ dealer.

i misspelt it - please read it as "cannot get info" instead of "can get"

Ok. thanks for that clarification. I wanted to ask you, why manufacturers are not revealing the manufacturing date to the customers?! after all its a product.

You see any other product which clearly states the production details , why not the automobile manufacturers doing the same? Is it because the problem when it comes to the year end ? so old stock remains with the dealer or any other.

You need to ask that to the govt why they dont make it mandatory.
Now, why dont you answer the long pending question which many have posed to you, related to whether any unauthorised means are being used to get the info. Reason is that, you are unable to get this type of info only for one manufacturer and not for all. Anyways, only advice is be careful!
