The tilt is not seen nor mentioned in the Team Bhp’s Official Review nor in any other automotive review.
It is obviously a development after use which means that there is a weakening of some component of the suspension, most likely a shock not returning to its original position.
This is a problem that affects some vehicles after a period of use although in the case of the Thar it is a bit too soon and more pronounced.
Probably why they are replacing the suspension. And the drawing indicating 1.3 cm difference in the chassis is clearly a hoax. |
The tilt is directly from the factory.
There is a deviation in the suspension mount on the chassis Quote:

A few days ago my dad casually told me that he feels that the Thar is leaning towards the right side a bit. Only then I checked my car. It does lean a bit towards the right. |
While checking in the sc for the root cause along with the tech liner from Mahindra we had found that there is a deviation in the suspension mount by 10 mm
But Mahindra design tolerance is +/- 20 mm in the overall ride height from the left to right
So they considered + tolerance on the left and negative tolerance on the right and closed the case stating its within the design tolerance and its normal. Quote:

Yor are completely correct.
As an initial solution they have changed the helical springs and shock absorbers in the rear but the problem was not rectified. So they have fitted the original parts back. Quote:

The information could really help out others like me who are considering the vehicle. |
People are facing this issue both in RWD and 4x4
But hope the vehicles are from some particular batch
