Re: Hyundai 1.5L Turbo-Petrol Overheats | Berkeley Hyundai blames it on flooring the accelerator!

You need to check if the radiator/condenser fins are clogged. You need to see whether the fan is running at high speed. Ideally you need to hook up a scanner that can check the various readings. Also hook up a voltmeter to check whether the voltage is within specification when the engine is revved.

Re: Hyundai 1.5L Turbo-Petrol Overheats | Berkeley Hyundai blames it on flooring the accelerator!

Wow..!

So the dealership is claiming that Hyundai is that incompetent in developing an engine..?

Many of us floor the throttle of our cars regularly and they run fine regardless of the brand. Guess people should stay away from Hyundai from now onwards.

What would they claim next..?

"We found that you drive your car. Our vehicles should be parked in the garage without turning the engine on for optimal performance"
