Congrats on the sound upgrade!
Perfect opportunity to get a free flow exhaust.
Otherwise source a used one if a new one is hard to come by.

Re: Hole in the muffler

Go to any exhaust workshop, they will cut a piece of the exhaust with the hole, maybe a foot or so in length and replace it with a new piece welding it to the old bits, if you wish to get a replacement can get the whole pipe too.
Please don't worry about what steel and all is used. Stock exhaust pipes are all mild steel.

Google automech in mumbai they will ship if you don't have anything local to you.

Re: Hole in the muffler

Have had similar problems with my Ford Ikon earlier and have got it fixed at the local gas welding shop. Depending on the extent of the damage, they either put a small patch and weld or they replace a part of the pipe. If it is only a patch, they charge less than 500 and if it replacement of part of the pipe, it may be around 1500

-Leave it as is and continue with the sound, however at times it feels like the ignition is going to shut down and then suddenly it turns itself back on.Any issues that i might run into if it is left as is till the replacement is done?

-MSeal the hole and see if it holds.Does MSeal really do the work?

-Weld the hole, but i hear that welding increases the corrosion etc.
Unlisted option- You can get an aftermarket exhaust.
